our people

Our sole focus in CCR is doctoral education, and our program offers a highly favorable faculty to student ratio. The program's commitment to diversity is reflected in the wide range of research interests you'll find in the faculty and student pages. Follow the tabs above to learn more about our:

  • Faculty - meet our full-time faculty members, each with his or her own introduction behind the photograph
  • Current Students - see who's who and who's where in their studies, including research interests and contact information
  • Affiliate Faculty - faculty from other departments who are affiliated with CCR and teach classes of interest to CCR students
  • Alumni - see where CCR has taken its graduates so far

In addition to their research, CCR faculty and students are involved in a variety of community based projects, ranging from writing workshops for community groups to a community writing course to local public school writing support projects to community publishing. You'll see some indications of these in the research interests, and more details in the individual faculty information pages you'll find linked from the Faculty main page.

The CCR community allows students and faculty to synthesize their interests in Composition and Cultural Rhetoric, and to take these shared interests beyond the classroom. Come in and get to know us better.
